Who is Richard Bacchus?

Richard Bacchus is a mechanic turned into a successful and well-known mortgage agent.

Richard is no stranger to hard work. Growing up he was taught to work hard by helping his parents operate a small Caribbean restaurant in Toronto called Bacchus Roti Shop. He was helping after school, on weekends, and during his summer breaks throughout most of his childhood. Bacchus Roti Shop won awards and his parents have even been on television multiple times. He eventually found what he believed to be his calling in the automotive sector repairing and upgrading vehicles because of his love of cars that started from the Fast and Furious franchise. Many years later he felt that he wanted to help others by making an even bigger impact on his community and country.

He found that there were a lot of people in need of money, especially as we still continue to feel some of the residual impact from the 2007-2008 economic crash that impacted the globe in varying degrees. But more important than that, he continually heard horror stories of people’s experiences with mortgage agents and mortgage brokers and wanted to change that by being the mortgage agent that continually provides top tier services and experiences that solve challenges that people are facing. This drove him to get his mortgage license and work with someone that was successfully implementing ethical and honest processes and procedures in the way they worked with their clients and financial lenders. He found Shridat Rajcoomar, a licensed and active mortgage broker and CENTUM mortgage franchisee owner. Shridat Rajcoomar is one of the top mortgage brokers in Canada. Through their relationship, Shridat has taught him how to effectively work with financial lenders and clients looking for both small and large mortgages at good rates. The key is to be honest and have all the documentation properly prepared, painting an accurate picture of the client’s current situation and future outcome.

Richard Bacchus continues to support and work at KD Auto Service, a small mom and pop automotive repair shop, throughout the day. In the afternoons, Richard focuses on his mortgage business. This works very well for Richard’s clients because they typically do not have time throughout the workday to make phone calls and retrieve necessary paperwork until after the typical work hours of 9am-5pm.
